This is the first house we've lived in with a fireplace....and last night was the first time the fireplace went on...can ya tell? They were memorized....until it started to smell like smoke bc of the left over twigs from the birds nest I removed from the vent outside. We'll just keep the fireplace turned off until dad gets home to check things over...
